Brian Moore – Cartoonist & Political Satirist 

Welcome to the Altar of Cormac.

There lives a man whom some would call a god,
no thats not Brian Moore,
thats Bobby singing about McIlhatton,
but you get my sentiments.

Brian Moores’ pen name was Cormac,
when writing his comic strip for An Phoblacht.
His work was very stylistic and surreal,
in the class of Robert Crumb – a far out cat.

The Cormac comic strip was from a Irish Republican
stance, ridiculing the British rule over the six counties.
His work broke down and simplified what was happen
all though the Troubles.

In general he was a pretty cool cucumber.
